A Toast to Random Parenthood

Mr and Mrs. Duggar welcome their 18th random child to the universe.

Reminds me of . . .

Groucho Marx was interviewing a woman who had 18 children.

Groucho said, 'That's a big responsibility. Why so many children?'

The woman replied, 'Well, I just love my husband.'

Said, Groucho: 'Well, I love my cigar, but I take it out of my mouth every once in a while.'

Hey, it's not as if there were lots and lots of unwanted, abused, and neglected kids already out there, is there?

The Duggars scare me, but I love that Groucho story.

Somewhere down the road I'm sure we will be hearing about how fucked up the home life is in that household.

I watch ads for their TV exploitation show and see all those zombie children who will never go to college lined up behind the 2 who breed slaves.

I think; you can do anything to children in this country and I do not agree. I would be very compliant with any government that severely restricted parental rights and strictly enforced those limits. The right to maim children by brainwashing and "discipline" is a right I happily give up.

Also the right to have more than 2 children, I happily relinquish.
