For the record:
On July 8, 2009, Coakley filed a suit,[26] challenging the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act.
The suit claims that Congress "overstepped its authority, undermined
states' efforts to recognize marriages between same-sex couples, and
codified an animus towards gay and lesbian people."[27] Massachusetts is the first state to challenge the legislation.[28]
In 2009, Coakley won settlements of $60 million from Goldman Sachs [29] and $10 million from Fremont Investment & Loan [30] for their abuse of subprime loans and lending.[31]

Too bad she didn't kick ass like that in her campaign against Brown. Must be what happens when you let professional Dims manage the campaign. Was Penn involved?
Sure, she kicked ass like that in her campaign. She was running on that record, her record. Which made the banksters want to stomp her down. Not helped either by dems mad at obama who stayed home, western mass ol' boy network conserva-dems, and worst, boston mayor menino who notably failed to turn out his vote-getting machine on her behalf. thanks for nothing, menino.
