Okay- I have 2 evil theories....
(1) Condi is being cleared of Blame for anything- and groomed to step into VP- OR so she can run for Prez...

(2) there are clearing the way for Fred Thompson to take Dick's job.....

I mean after all Dick is scheduled for heart surgery this summer....( I know that is an oxymoron...)
