Throwing shoes at someone in Iraqi culture is like spitting in someone's face in our culture, a sign of utter contempt.
Throwing of the shoes at Bush's head in particular compounds the insult.
As does calling Bush a "dog."
A contempt trifecta for our departing Preznit Toad-Exploder.

I'm guessing that poor bastard paid dearly for his courage and outrage.

As I said over at the Woodshed, I'd like to see Bush pelted with shoes everytime he shows his face in public. I'd especially like to see about 4,200 pairs of combat boots dumped on the white house lawn one night. I think people should be mailing him shoes from now until doomsday so that he never ever forgets the horror he has perpetrated on the people of Iraq and America.
I'd go for 700K+ pairs of shoes, from that perspective. What's the total death toll to date?
Can I opted out from shoes and choose something else? Take monkeys for instance. What they throw I hear, must be a universal sign of F**k and die, though I am unsure of the exact translation. I am no expert but it would be fun, and throw enough of it, and no one can come out clean. Thats right, not TIDE or a presidential pardon could wash that shit out.
Winged monkeys. Mmm.
