(btw, my point here is not about about eating meat or not, it is about Palin's complete obliviousness to the suffering of sentient beings, since from just such obliviousness springeth Abu Ghraib, springeth Gitmo, springeth . . . . well, you get my drift, do you not?)

She's "always in charge of the turkey". Well, I'd say that about sums it up.

I used to know an old "factory girl", namea "Babs". She'd have taken a gander at the Arctic Fox and said "C U Next Tuesday!"

Yeah but MY point is about eating "meat" not a cheap shot at a political opponent who at least has the honesty not to deny what happens to the food she eats.

She is morally superior to every bloggers who makes a point of this incident and then rips apart a bird on his dinner table. Too bad you had to look at how it got there.

I think we ought to televise the slaughter houses everyday. Every holiday at least. Thank You Sara Palin. At least when she kills a moose it is a fast death unlike the truck rides and the slaughter houses. Unlike the argi business confinement pens and veal crates.

My point was about her obliviousness to suffering.

My point to you is about your apparent obliviousness to the suffering of all the sentient beings who die in order to allow you to sustain your life, in the course of which your (vegetarian?) ego gets to puff up and feel better than. (Recallthe hundreds of insects that get plowed under in order to grow wheat, etc.)

We all incur karmic debts by our very existence. The point is to be aware of what we owe to other sentient beings, and not to remain oblivious.
